Macedon Ranges Shire Council invites residents to join Dr Rob Gordon for a lunchtime webinar reflecting on the six months since the 9 June storm, and the reactions that people may still be experiencing.

He is a consultant to Red Cross and the Victorian Department of Families, Fairness and Housing. Dr Gordon has worked with people and communities after Black Saturday and Black Summer, the Christchurch Earthquake, as well as numerous floods, fires, cyclones and other events throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Macedon Ranges Shire Council CEO Mr Bernie O’Sullivan encouraged residents to attend the webinar:
“The clean-up continues as we approach the six month anniversary of the June 9 storm. But it’s not just the physical and environmental impacts that is going to take time for the community to recover from. We’re delighted to have Dr Rob Gordon share his expertise and advice with affected landowners in the Macedon Ranges,” said Mr O’Sullivan.
The session will be recorded and shared after the webinar via our mrsc.vic.gov.au/storm-recovery
Council thanks Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) for funding this webinar.
