Gardens provide important opportunities for people to engage with the natural world and to develop their ideas about their relationships with nature. Gardeners in village areas play a key role in the management of significant areas of green space, and they must engage with pro-wildlife and conservation behaviours in their gardens. Although living in village environments, gardeners can be left disconnected from nature and less likely to engage with habitat conservation. However, while village gardeners each manage a relatively small parcel of land, collectively these gardens provide important habitat – a corridor for pollinators. One approach for village gardeners is to engage in the Pollinator Corridor Project
