November 21st, 2022Work begins on final stage of age care upgrade

Work has started on the third and final stage of the refurbishment of Creswick’s John Curtin age care facility.
The minister for health Mary-Anne Thomas and local Labor candidate for Ripon Martha Haylett took time out to tour the facility recently and meet and greet with residents.
Both marvelled at the redevelopment which has so far included constructin of 12 bedrooms, each with private ensuite, a central living drining and kitchen area, two smaller living rooms, a library space and a landscaped courtyard, complementing the purpose built dementia specific unit that was completed in Stage 1.
