Hepburn Spring’s Palais is suggesting anyone partial to “boogying like it’s 1999” might want to get along to its upcoming ‘Dreams of Aquarius’ event, promising “a unique night of local electronic musicians and DJ’s“.

Astrologically speaking we are either in or heading into the Age of Aquarius – ie – “… a time when humanity will awaken to its true potential and understand our place in the universe” and the Palais is hosting this event to acknowlege that rumour.

Featuring Maarten Stenakur, Justine Walsh, Square Wave Bounce, Shimmer Net, Ezc, Fahad + DJ’s the Dreams of Aquarius event happens Friday, February 3 and will feature an eclectic mix of the region’s live electronic music scene.

They say you can “expect a musical smorgasbord of warped synth lines straight from outta space, cosmic percussion, soaring vocals, rap and plenty of dancing to the beat.”

They also suggest: “Celebrate these unique sonic offerings. Come with an open mind, leave with a full heart. Relax, unwind, and boogie like it’s 1999.”
