A man has died following a collision involving a car and a garbage truck in Dalyston last Tuesday morning.
A man has died following a collision involving a car and a garbage truck in Dalyston last Tuesday morning.
Investigators have been told a car and a garbage truck collided head-on along the Bass Highway about 5.45am.
Sadly, the male driver of the car died at the scene.
His female passenger was not injured and taken to hospital for observation.
The truck driver, a 63-year-old man, was not injured and has been assisting police with their enquiries.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the collision were continuing.
