Hepburn Shire landholders who have gorse issues on their land are being invited to get cracking and apply for a community grant to help them control the pest species.

Thirty Hepburn Shire residents recently attended a Gorse Control workshop at Creswick where strategies were discussed, gorse ‘mulching’ machinery demonstrated, and contractors quizzed.

 A collaboration between the Hepburn Shire Councill and the Victorian Gorse Taskforce, the workshop was an opportunity for participants to explore potential treatment options.
