Chambers of commerce, trader groups, industry associations and other business groups can now apply for grants of $20,000 and $50,000 to deliver locally led projects that help flood-affected small businesses to recover and thrive.

The grants program is jointly funded by the Australian and Victorian governments through Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements, and will close on Tuesday 31 October or when funds are exhausted, whichever happens first.

Business groups are encouraged to apply with project proposals that will reactivate their local economy and support small businesses in their community.

Applicants must support businesses in flood-affected areas with the higher grant amount available for businesses that experienced acute impact from the Victorian floods.

Those who believe they are eligible to apply are currently being invited to Apply here now
