May 31st, 2025Art show to transform Castlemaine town hall over long weekend

Rotary Castlemaine’s Art Show is on again and being staged over the upcoming Kings Birthday long weekend.

Chewton artist Greg Wood (pictured above) will be the featured artist and judge for the upcoming Rotary Castlemaine Art Show.

Supported by the Mount Alexander Shire Council Events Grants Program, it will be the local Rotary Club’s 36th Annual Art Exhibition.

The annual event transforms transforming the Castlemaine Town Hall into an art gallery and offers art lovers a great opportunity to snap up some quality original artworks.

The annual fundraising event also features the popular art show raffle tickets sale and this time ’round the first prize is a wonderful print entitled Clunes, by artist Jeff Makin, with plenty of other raffle prizes to be won as well.
