Rejoice, Shaun the Sheep is back, in The Beast of Mossy Bottom. Rated as an excellent family film, packed with great visual gags and terrific throwaway references, the story of heroic sheep in Mossy Bottom is a delight.

Consider, a hairdressing salon in the wool country called Barber Black Sheep. With amazingly different facial features on the sheep, depending on their mood, this is a smart, funny precise film. It screens at 2pm and 4.30pm on September 26 and 2pm on September 27.

Back in 1998 Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman made the original Practical Magic, now seen as a beloved cult classic. They really enjoyed working together as the Owens sisters. Now, after decades apart, they unite for Practical Magic 2, which takes place decades after the first film. The women are part of a long line of witches meaning any man who falls in love with an Owens woman is destined for an untimely death. It’s on at 7pm on September 20 and 21.

Coyote v. Acme (2pm- September, 18, 7pm – September 19 & 2pm – September 20.) is quirky and strangely diverting. Critics say it is a s quirky and strangely diverting live-action-cartoon hybrid, the likes of which has not been popular for quite some time. It’s a fresh twist on the surreal forever war between Wile E. Coyote and the speedy Road Runner.

Close Encounters of the Third Kind (2pm on September 21) is an uplifting and optimistic story, with many scary moments before the aliens’ exact nature is revealed. A “must watch,” said The Guardian. Tom and Jerry: Forbidden Compass screens at 2pm on September 25 and 11am on September 26 and 27.

Next from Korea comes Hope (7pm on September 26 and 27), an action epic described as both exhilarating and unruly, as a creature causes mayhem in a small rural community.
