Tee Up for Kids Foundation is looking for keen golfers from across the region to raise funds for Cafs (Child and Family Services, Ballarat). On Friday, March 17th the annual Ian Stanley Classic will take place at the Hepburn Springs Golf Club.

Ian Stanley was a champion both on and off the course. He was involved at the Hepburn Springs Golf Club for many years and, among his other achievements, was a founding director of the Tee Up for Kids Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation which raises money for disadvantaged children in Victoria.

Once again, proceeds from the Ian Stanley Classic, will be directed to Cafs Thread Together program. Cafs Thread Together Hub services the Central Highlands region providing people in need with brand-new clothing and last year the event raised $12,000 to support the program.

Funds will be directed specifically to supporting young people with new clothing, allowing recipients to dress with dignity, removing another barrier to continuing their education and ensuring that each child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Last year, Cafs Thread Together opened a Mobile Wardrobe at Cafs Daylesford office on the same day as the Ian Stanley event resulting in 114 items given to 19 customers in just 2 hours with another 10 clothing packs delivered at a later date.
