December 6th, 2024Disruptions as Telstra upgrades Glenlyon mobile base

Telstra is currently upgrading its Glenlyon mobile base station to bring 5G coverage to the area.

Mobile services in the area are expected to be temporarily affected while the upgrade works are carried out.

The site was scheduled to be switched off from Monday, December 2 until today, Friday, December 6, with some disruptions also scheduled for Monday, December 9 and Tuesday, December 10 as call testing and integration of the network is tested.

There are not expected to be any disruptions during the weekend.
