March 2nd, 2024Antique firearms stolen in burglary: Western Region Crime Squad investigates

Western Region Crime Squad detectives are investigating a commercial burglary at a business in Ocean Grove where multiple antique firearms were stolen in recent weeks.

It is believed offender/s have smashed front windowpanes of the Grubb Road business sometime between midnight and 6am on Monday 19 January.

The offenders have managed to reach through the windows and steal some old antique firearms, bayonets, and swords.

Included in the items stolen were six firearms, dating back to the eighteenth to early nineteenth century.

This week investigators have released images (above and below) of the antique weapons stolen during the incident on the hope someone may recognise them.
