Daylesford’s Bar Bamford plays host host to an evening of smooth, stylish jazz on Saturday evening June 21 with Late Night Radio.
Getting under way from 8.30pm Late Night Radio features vocalist Cherie Bridges, Jack Pantazis on guitar and Ben Gibbons on upright bass.
This gig in the Daylesford Hotel’s intimate Bar Bamford venue will be free to attend and offers a chance to immerse yourself in a playful mix of swing, bossa, and ballads that promise to transport the listener to another time.

Jai and Barbarella are the dynamic duo behind Swing Time, bringing their own twist to everything from 1920s jazz to modern pop hits.
With a splash of ragtime, a touch of soul, and a whole lot of personality, they’ll keep you guessing – “Wait… is that Beyoncé as a jazz number?”
From sweet serenades to foot-stomping swing, their playful setlist gets audiences smiling, swaying, and maybe even shimmying in their seats.
This talented duo are performing at the Daylesford Hotel’s Bar Bamford this Saturday evening, and entry to catch their gig in this intimate local venue is free.

A wonderful evening of charm and rhythm awaits as The Crumpled Gypsies prepare to bring their irresistible blend of Gypsy swing, Latin, Calypso, and more to Daylesford’s Bar Bamford this Saturday evening.
This fabulous trio—featuring Jim Brannon on vocals and clarinet, Simon Wigney on guitar, and Denis Toner on double bass—was born from a shared love of music and fashion.
Together, they create a sound that’s playful, stylish, and timeless and they’re bringing their sound to Bar Bamfordat the Daylesford Hotel this Saturday evening May 24 from 8.30pm.
Entry is free and the Crumpled Gypsies are promising an intimate night of toe-tapping tunes, vintage vibes, and smooth melodies in the cozy surrounds of Bar Bamford.
April 23rd, 2025Barb Kerr Trio plays Bar Bamford, Daylesford
With a rich, warm, expressive voice and playful spirit, singer Barb Kerr enters the Australian jazz scene with strong musical backing from two of Central Victoria’s finest jazz musicians Simon Wigney (guitar) and Denis Toner (bass).
This well-tuned trio is headed to Bar Bamford at The Daylesford Hotel for an evening gig set for Saturday May 10.
An experienced instrumentalist herself, Barb’s love for singing jazz shines through in every song.
Barb draws from the Great American and Latin Songbooks. Influenced by Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and Frank Sinatra and legendary instrumentalists Duke Ellington, Oscar Peterson and Dexter Gordon.
