The Macedon Ranges Shire Council has endorsed a new policy to guide how it manages complaints and behaviour deemed to be "unreasonable" into the future.
The Macedon Ranges Shire Council has endorsed a new policy to guide how it manages complaints and behaviour deemed to be “unreasonable” into the future.
At its recent scheduled May meeting the council rubber-stamped its new Complaint and Unreasonable Behaviour Policy.
Endorsement of the new policy follows a period of community consultation held over February-March this year.
The updated Policy aims to improve complaint handling and to recognise and manage unreasonable
behaviour.
It is also hoped to reinforce the council’s commitment to providing a high standard of customer service in
line with its Customer Service Charter.
