October 18th, 2026Daylesford Show
The Daylesford Show is only a few weeks away – with plenty of attractions for the kids on offer.

The fabulous petting zoo will be back, although probably with some poultry exclusions because of the H5 bird flu.
The Bubble Fairy is a popular and appealing part of the show. Fabulous magician Cath Jamieson will run another magic workshop for kids and roam around the show, wowing everyone with her expertise.
The Puppetman will be back again along with the face painter who proved very popular last year.
Volunteers Cath Davies, Jeff Stewart and Virginia Purdey did a fabulous job of setting up the Tom Ford Pavilion and surrounds.
The colouring competition that was launched for the 150th show was a great success with more than 380 entries. Committee members and volunteers have delivered folders to libraries, primary schools, childcare centres and kinders, containing information about the various children’s competitions and special prizes for children and schools.
This information is also available on the website. The same people will collect entries before the show and deliver them back afterwards.
Last year there was an increase in the number of junior entries in competitions, and it is hoped that continues in 2026.
The Daylesford Show is on Saturday, November 28 from 9am to 3pm. Link: www.daylesfordshow.com
