October 18th, 2026TYLDENVANIA
The cronies from Tyldenvania are busy working on their Tylden Halloween event – and Natalie Davis, right, and Beth Johnson, and their all-hands-on-deck crew, are flat out.

The all-ages event, but with children definitely needing supervision, is on at the Tylden Hall on Saturday, October 31 from 4pm to 11pm – with the cost just $13 for adults, $7 for schoolchildren and free for under fives. (Tickets are a must for capacity.) So what to expect? Halloween vibes of course, then food trucks, local youth band Bandemic, Melbourne band Gold Coast Leathers, a candy bar, a tinfoil hat making competition, a spooky limbo competition, a giant box puzzle with jigsaws to complete, a huge raffle and lots of prizes – such as for the most enthusiastic dancer. But don’t expect too much glitz and glamour. Tyldenvania is all about DIY guerilla-style punk, op shop stuff, stuff from under the house, props stored in sheds…Dress to impress, or scare. The next event is a Prom Night in February and The Local will use that chance to tell you more about Nat and Beth. Watch this space. Bookings: www.trybooking.com/au/event/1648363
