October 23rd, 2026I’m Voting to Avoid the Fine registered as a political party
I’m Voting to Avoid the Fine is now registered as a political party in Victoria.
The party recently applied for registration. As required by section 49 of the Electoral Act 2002 (Vic), the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) advertised the application and invited objections. To be registered, a party must meet legislative requirements, including having at least 500 members on the electoral roll. The VEC confirmed this by writing to the members whose names were provided by I’m Voting to Avoid the Fine.
