Young families in Hepburn Shire and surrounds are being invited to join in the fun of National Simultaneous Storytime - Australia's biggest storytelling session this month with events set for multiple branches of the Goldfields Libraries group.

Young families in Hepburn Shire and surrounds are being invited to join in the fun of National Simultaneous Storytime – Australia’s biggest storytelling session this month with events set for multiple branches of the Goldfields Libraries group.

The same book will be read across Australia and New Zealand at the same time.

This year participants are getting set to simultaneously read Rebecca Young and Heath McKenzie’s The Speedy Sloth, an inspiring story to celebrate all winners…especially those who don’t come first.

It all happens on Wednesday 24 May 24 at 11am with simultaneous storytelling taking places at branches in Bendigo, Boort, Castlemaine, Elmore, Gisborne (10.30am), Kangaroo Flat, Kyneton and Woodend.
