February 28th, 2025Biodiversity grants up for grabs in Hepburn Shire: groups urged to apply
Hepburn Shire community groups with a great idea to enhance or protect the area’s biodiversity are being encouraged to check out the council’s Biodiversity Grants Program which has opened for applications.

The council is encouraging local community groups with a community-based project or initiative that enhances and protects the biodiversity of the shire to apply for a grant under the program.
If you’re a local community group with a community-based project or initiative that aims to reduce future impacts of climate change and promote or establish circular economy-focused programs, the council wants to work with you to realise your project goals.
Applications are currently being received up to March 16, with those keen to know more able to view the guidelines at www.hepburn.vic.gov.au/grants or contact the council to talk to the grants team.
