While the move to permanent care in an aged care facility can be an emotionally challenging time, Hepburn House’s compassionate staff work closely with residents and their loved ones during the transition period to ensure everyone involved feels supported.
Manager Shelley Simpson said while many people embraced the move for onsite medical support, social interaction and mobility support, others found it harder to leave the home they know for an aged care facility.
