The Central Highlands Growers & Producers Hub is inviting expressions of interest from local food producers and culinary creatives to be part of the upcoming Forage & Feast Festival set for early next year.

Between January 13th and February 16th, Forage & Feast Festival will be taking place through-out the Central Highlands.

The festival aims to nurture the hidden gems of the region, and enliven a traditionally quieter season with the vibrancy of local food, drink, and fresh produce.

The festival cultivates a philosophy of indulgence, rejuvenation, and connection with local production powerhouses.

Organisers say: “for this, we require local heroes of the culinary industry to provide the face of the event.”

“With your involvement, Forage & Feast can promote brand awareness, regional tourism, and garner future hospitality opportunities.

“It’s a golden time to engage with the diversity buried in the lush farmlands that abound the Central Highlands.

“Forage & Feast champions locally-made produce from our own soil. Businesses involved would celebrate at least two growers or producers from the Central Highlands Growers and Producers Hub.

“This could take the form of a traditional meal, degustation, a specialty tasting or masterclass, as well as a multitude of tours and demonstrations.

“It is not essential for participation that the event be one-of-a-kind. We encourage a celebration of the work that is the backbone of your business, with a summery spin.
