September school holidays September school holidays are almost here. Our library and youth teams have organised some free, fun activities for school-aged children.

There will be African drumming lessons, craft sessions, and kite-making workshops. It’s the perfect chance for children to get creative, learn new skills, and enjoy hands-on experiences with friends. Celebrated African drummer, Kofi Kunkpe, will host workshops at Daylesford Library and the Creswick Hub.

Free green waste From 1–30 November residents of Hepburn Shire can visit any of our transfer stations for free green waste disposal to help prepare for fire season.

Things to remember: Noxious weeds should not be transported or brought to the transfer stations as it is illegal to transport noxious weeds in Victoria and for our transfer stations to accept them.
