Council to move out of Duke Street Council’s Duke Street office in Daylesford will close, with staff relocating during November and December after a thorough evaluation identified building condition and safety issues.

Planning, Building and Customer Service will move to the rear of the Visitor Information Centre in mid-December, accessed via a walkway and side door. Other staff will move to 24 Vincent Street and the Daylesford depot, while the Economic Development team will temporarily move to Duke Street during works at the Visitor Information Centre.

Council will share moving dates through its website, social media and publications, with signage to guide customers. The building will be decommissioned, with its future considered by Council over the coming months.
