July 11th, 2023Councillors endorse new disability action plan

Local councillors with the Macedon Ranges Shire Council have pitched their support behind a new disability action plan.

At their recently held June scheduled meeting the councillors formally endorsed a draft Disability Action Plan 2023-2024, which is expected to ultimately guide the council’s activities so as “to cultivate an inclusive community where people with disability feel valued, safe, and connected”.
The draft plan will be released for public consultation for four weeks from 10 July, and those particularly eager to get more information about it can do so online at mrsc.vic.gov.au/your-say
