The Minister for Regional Development Harriet Shing and the Member for Macedon, Mary-Anne Thomas
have announced $275,706 funding for nine local projects through the Labor Government’s Living Local
Fund.
The local Girl Guides group has received $47,000 for the removal of potentially harmful asbestos in its Daylesford hall.

The funding is also going towards new weatherboards and plastering both externally and internally to include plumbing, upgraded electrical work, painting, flooring and sustainable heating and cooling to deliver a safer environment for those who use the Hall.
