October 7th, 2024Emergency Expo to take place in Daylesford

Residents throughout the Hepburn Shire are being invited to attend the upcoming free Emergency Expo taking place on Saturday October 19 in Daylesford.

The free expo will take place from 10am – 2pm at Daylesford’s Victoria Park.

It’s a chance for all local residents to meet the shire’s first responders and learn how to prepare their properties, families and animals for emergency events including fire, flood (like the one pictured above) and storms.

It’s also a chance to catch some live rescue demonstrations and take home a lucky door prize worth more than $200.

Food and drinks available, including a free sausage sizzle

The event is being organised by Hepburn Shire Council with event partners Victoria State Emergency Service, CFA (Country Fire Authority), Victoria Police, Ambulance Victoria, Australian Red Cross and Rapid Relief Team AU.
