Local lovers of baroque music are in for a treat in Daylesford this weekend.

Ensemble Pompadour with Laura Vaughan – viola da gamba and Simon Rickard – baroque musette will be performed at Christ Church Daylesford this Saturday, July 29 at 2.30pm.

Laura Vaughan and Simon Rickard are two of Australia’s leading exponents of baroque music.

They share a particular love for the French baroque, and for weird and wonderful historical instruments – the more exotic the better.
