June 9th, 2025Garden gold up for grabs with council compost offer

Compost made from the Hepburn Shire Council food and garden organics is now available for residents to use in their gardens.

The garden gold is available for local households who have dropped off organics or who have a kerbside organics collection.

Residents can book themselves a bag (or two) through the council’s website at www.hepburn.vic.gov.au/compost

The compost can be collected from any of the council’s transfer stations on dates ranging from Tuesday 10 to Sunday 15 June.

To help spread the garden gold love around the offer is being limited to one booking per household.
