Time is running out to apply for a grant through the Hepburn Shire Council to help conserve biodiversity in the shire.
The council says its “got great news for community groups out there who want to make a real difference in biodiversity”.
It is currently offering grants of up to $5000 for projects focused on conserving, protecting, and enhancing biodiversity in the shire.
Community groups, including environmental groups, schools and other incorporated or auspiced groups, are being encouraged to apply.
More information on the guidelines and application process is available on the council’s website and applications close at 5pm on Monday 5 June.
