March 5th, 2024Grants to help horticulture growers net crops

Grants of up to $150,000 are available to eligible producers of commercial horticulture crops, excluding wine grapes, to purchase and install new netting over established production areas.

The program now includes a self-installation allowance for growers who wish to self-install netting.

Applications close 8 April with more information about the program available by visiting the Horticultural Netting Grants for Victorian Horticulturalists on the Agriculture Victoria website.

The program is delivered by the Victorian Government on behalf of the Australian Government and is likely to be of interest to quite a few commercial horticultural producers in the wider Hepburn shire area.
