We know all food and fibre farms produce some form of greenhouse gas emissions which contribute to increasing the concentration of greenhouse gas in the atmosphere.
These additional heat trapping gases are increasing global temperatures and causing other changes in local (and global) climates, including a rise in average daily temperatures over time and less predictable seasonal rainfall patterns.
To help dairy farmers understand more about this Agriculture Victoria has released a new eLearn, via the Agriculture Victoria Learning Management System. It’s called Greenhouse Gas Emissions on Dairy Farms: What’s in it for me?
The eLearn allows dairy farmers to increase their awareness of the impact of greenhouse emissions and the sources from dairy farming.
