Hepburn Shire Council has secured $2.22 million of state government funding for six projects around the shire. The council is contributing $321,000 across all the projects.

The funding comes from the government’s Safe Local Roads and Streets Program which provides funding to support infrastructure upgrades that reduce road trauma and improve safety outcomes.
The projects are: Victoria and Cambridge streets, Creswick; Pearsons Road and James Lane intersection, Fern Hill; Ligar Street, Clunes; Stanbridge Street, Daylesford (Stage 1 and Stage 2); Bath Street, Trentham; and Central Springs Road, Daylesford.
The six projects are at different stages of delivery and approval from the funding agency, with construction anticipated to be completed by end October 2026.
