Hepburn Shire Council’s draft Road Management Plan 2025–2029 is open for consultation until Friday, September 19.
Key areas of the draft plan include: council’s responsibilities under the Road Management Act 2004; management of road and footpath assets; inspection and maintenance schedules; and intervention levels and response times for defects. The plan and the Road Register and Footpath Register can be viewed at the Participate Hepburn website. The plan applies to local roads only and does not include roads managed by external agencies such as the Department of Transport and Planning, Parks Victoria, VicRoads and others.
