Widely regarded as one of Australia’s leading jazz vocalists, Michelle Nicolle has won multiple awards including the National Jazz Award, Bell Award, and several Mo Awards, and has been nominated three times for ARIA Awards for Best Jazz Album. Known for her expressive interpretations and improvisational skill, Nicolle has performed at major international jazz festivals and collaborated with artists such as Wynton Marsalis and Kurt Elling.
Hugh Stuckey is an Australian jazz guitarist and composer known for his lyrical playing style and long-standing contribution to Melbourne’s jazz scene. A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, he has performed extensively across Australia and internationally, collaborating with leading jazz musicians in ensembles ranging from small groups to big bands.
