May 1st, 2025Library service and funding agreement signed for Macedon Ranges

The Macedon Ranges Shire Council has committed to signing on to the North Central Goldfields Regional Library Service and Funding Agreement 2025-2027.

The document outlines library service delivery and funding arrangements that will be in place for the next two years.

Within the next two years, the current Regional Library Corporation is expected to transition to a new operating model, to comply with the Local Government Act 2020.

Residents are expected to continue to benefit from shared library services delivered in collaboration with neighbouring councils.
