A robust community turnout has greeted the Hepburn Shire Council’s first public listening post for the year, held earlier this month.

On Saturday February 15, the Hepburn Shire Council hosted its first Listening Post event in Creswick.

Despite the cool weather, it was a productive day, the council has since reported.

Attending council executive team members and councillors listened to the more than 20 community members who rolled up to chat about matters important to them.

The council’s next two public Listening Posts are scheduled for Daylesford on Thursday March 27 and Trentham on May 3.

Additional Listening Posts are also planned to be announced beyond that, the council says.
