Local Lines

haiku

crabwalking
with heads cocked
bookshop browsers

pre-winter
arm(y) attack
flu shot

a cockatoo cry
unzipping the sky
what will fall out

first cake cut
on his birthday face
a cracked smile

on the stack
the click of bricks
unbuilding

– Bill Wootton

In between cleaning bricks, getting jabbed, writing haiku, Bill has been strolling the streets of Hepburn Springs.
