February 16th, 2024Man dies following microlight aircraft accident

Police have been preparing a report for the coroner following the death of a man in Colac West on Sunday morning, February 11.

It is understood the man was operating a microlight aircraft when he crashed into a paddock in the intersection of Kennys Lane and Rossmoyne Road just before 9am.

Emergency services performed CPR however the man died at the scene. The exact cause of the crash had yet to be determined.
