January 31st, 2025Man dies in hospital following Wendouree crash

Police are keen to hear from anyone with information relating to a crash that happened in the Ballarat suburb of Wendouree earlier this month – and claimed the life of a Ballarat man who later died in hospital.

The collision happened in the Ballarat suburb of Wendouree on Saturday, January 11 when, it’s understood, a Mitsubishi Triton utility crashed into the front veranda of a residence on Forest Street about 5.55pm.

The driver and sole occupant of the Mitsubishi, a 46-year-old Wendouree man, was taken to hospital where he died on January 17.

The occupants of the house were uninjured.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
