Retiring Western Victoria MP Jaala Pulford has announced a
$500,000 grant to the Central Victorian Goldfields World Heritage Masterplan that will support the
development of a bid for the region to achieve a World Heritage listing.
The masterplan will fund the

Covering an area of about 40,000 square kilometres north-west of Melbourne,
the 13 local government areas making up the Central Victorian Goldfields are seeking
the listing to celebrate this iconic region’s history and heritage.
Ms Pulford said she was delighted to announce the funding for the Central

supporting our community”.
Ms Pulford’s media team did not reply to a question from The Local about
how AusNet’s plans to erect 85-metre high towers throughout the region to bring
