With the ring of steel down, Melburnians were keen to get back to the regions including the Central Highlands of Victoria.
But while some residents were worried about social distancing, or the lack of it, it seemed that most people were doing the right thing with masks and social distance.
The Local‘s Donna Kelly and Kyle Barnes headed out for a look and found while there were more visitors, 99 per cent were just busy enjoying being back in regional Victoria.
