The Hepburn Shire Council is encouraging residents to discover new ways to reduce, reuse and recycle during National Recycling Week – this week.

Established by Planet Ark in 1996, National Recycling Week, is held every year during the second week of November (11th to the 17th November 2024).

The Planet Ark website at https://ow.ly/2LEt50U40qW hosts a useful range of tools and ideas to think about ways to refuse and reduce waste as well as smart ways to repair and re-use items.

The website includes a directory listing a wide range of available recycled products – from road manufacturing material to eye glasses and swimwear.
