Ten residents of the Hepburn Shire have taken Australia’s national citizenship pledge or oath in recent days.

In a social media announcement following the event held in the Daylesford Town Hall on Thursday July 11, the Hepburn Shire Council posted: “This is such an important day, and we’re very proud to warmly welcome them to our beautiful region.

“Thank you to Jason Kerr for the wonderful Welcome to Country.

“Our new citizens have come from the United Kingdom, New Zealand, India, the Philippines, and Ireland.”
