Daylesford’s Good Grub Club has a new home — the former adult daycare centre and former VEC Electoral office, near the corner of Raglan and Vincent Streets.

The club reopened on Thursday, May 1 with a late morning tea and a special ribbon-cutting ceremony with Councillor Lesley Hewitt (Deputy Mayor) from 11am.

The club announced that its regular services would resume from:

• Tuesday, 6 May for limited hamper deliveries, and

• Thursday, 8 May for its popular community lunch and groceries

The club also launched a brand new system for recipients who can visit each Thursday, bring their own shopping bags and select their own produce and groceries using a points system. (Limits apply.)

The club thanked Councillor Lesley Hewitt and the entire Hepburn Shire Council Facilities Team for “saving the day and helping us secure such a fantastic, accessible new space”.

The club is inviting all members of the community to “come along, see what we’re up to, volunteer, donate, or sign up for our food assistance program!”.

You can now find The Good Grub Club at 79a Raglan Street, Daylesford.
