Families in Kyneton will have access to a brand-new kindergarten located right next to the local primary school.

Minister for Early Childhood and Pre-Prep Ingrid Stitt and Member for Macedon Mary-Anne Thomas have visited the new Kyneton Kindergarten to mark its official opening, equipped with modern learning facilities, administration facilities and an engaging outdoor play space.
Having the kindergarten and school together will help local children make a smooth transition from pre-school to school, and make drop-off and pick-up times simpler for parents and carers.
Evidence shows that two-years are better than one when it comes to early learning. Children who start kinder at the age-of-three, gain academic and social benefits that last into their school years and beyond.
