Congratulations to Cr Tim Drylie, who Councillors voted to be the new Mayor for the next 12 months, with Cr Jen Bray as Deputy Mayor (both pictured with Town Crier Philip Greenbank). CEO Bradley Thomas said the election of Cr Tim Drylie as Mayor and Cr Jen Bray as Deputy Mayor is recognition of the great work they do on behalf of their communities.

“Cr Drylie and Cr Bray will be important leaders as we deliver the commitments outlined in the Community Vision and Council Plan, a significant milestone over the last year. I look forward to working with them as we navigate the changing COVID environment and storm recovery, while delivering many services for our community,” said Bradley.

“Thank you to outgoing Mayor Cr Lesley Hewitt, and outgoing Deputy Mayor Cr Brian Hood. Crs Hewitt and Hood have played vital roles over the past year, and have done a great deal of work on behalf of the community. They have also been an enormous support for me, and for the new Councillors as they transitioned into their roles.”
