Macedon MP Mary-Anne Thomas is Victoria’s new Minister for Health and Minister for Ambulance Services. She was formerly Minister for Agriculture and Regional Development. Ms Thomas takes over from Martin Foley, who recently resigned after leading the health sector through the pandemic.
The State Government is upskilling Victoria’s electrical workers, improving community safety and equipping the workforce to be part of the state’s growing renewable and new energy sectors.
Village Connect is a new service for older residents and carers in the shire provided by Council. Free coffee cup events will be held at cafes across the shire for people aged over 55.

The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) provided funding of $337,000 to the Committee of Management for the first stage of the works identified in the museum’s conservation management plan.
