COMMEMORATIVE Quilt, a book which charts the creation of a triptych quilt made to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the opening and naming of the Redesdale Bridge on January 23, 1868, has been published.
The book is for sale for $20 with proceeds going to the Redesdale and District Association. To buy a copy of the book email kathhall32@gmail.com The quilt is now on exhibition at the Redesdale Gallery.

Sports Central and FedUni WestVic Academy of Sport are proud to be launching the Central Highlands Coaches Collective. Taking place on Wednesday 22 July 2026 at Federation University’s Mount Helen Campus, the Central Highlands Coaches Collective seeks to bring together current and aspiring coaches and leaders from the Central Highlands region.
Glenlyon is noted for having been a gold-mining area with the original settlement of the town dating back to 1846. At one time Glenlyon had three schools operating: a State School No. 266, Rae’s Hill School No. 1294 (Private) and Burke No. 1677.
