The Hepburn Shire Council is inviting local residents to attend a special event celebrating the shire’s Community Award winners for 2025 and welcoming its newest Australian citizens.

The upcoming free event will take place in the Loddon River Room at The Mechanics Trentham on Friday January 24 at 2pm.

The council will announce its new Citizen of the Year, Community Event of the Year, and Hepburn Together Award winners.

The Community Award winners for 2024 were ChillOut Festival (Event of the Year), Pat Tacey and Neville Cartledge (joint Citizens of the Year pictured above) and Alice Newitt (Young Citizen of the Year) with a Special Commendation also presented to the band Elysium.
