The Vessel, by Trentham’s Dawn Bamforth, is a gutsy, topical exploration of all that is right and wrong with aged care.
Inspired in part by the demise of her own mother from the ravages of dementia, and ably assisted by a team of actors and creatives from regional Victoria, The Vessel, is a gentle retelling of the life of an older woman, Mary, in the latter stages of the disease, now living in aged care.
